The room you already own, finished.
The fastest way to a new room. One to three weeks on site.
- Fixed price
- 10 year guarantee
- Fully insured
- One team, start to finish
A garage conversion is the quickest and cheapest way to add a proper room. The walls, roof and floor are already there. We make them warm, dry and legal, and turn the space into whatever you need: an office, a gym, a bedroom with an en suite, a playroom or a utility.
The front wall is the part people notice. We build the old door opening up in brick or stone matched to the house so the join does not show, and fit a window or doors to suit the room.

Every quote is written in build order. So is the job.
We draw your job in the same system we build from and price each stage from that drawing, in the order it happens on site. That is why the number on the quote holds, and why you can see exactly where the job is at any point.
Attached garage conversion. Press play, or step through each stage of the job in the order it is built and quoted.
Stage by stage, the way it is built.
From site set up to handover, this is the order a garage conversion goes together. Your quote lists the same stages with a price against each.
Finished, and on site.

Garage conversions: questions people ask
Do I need planning permission to convert my garage?
Usually not. Converting an attached garage is normally permitted development as long as the work is internal and the building stays the same size. Some newer estates have a condition that garages must stay as parking, and detached garages are treated differently. We check before we start.
Will it be warm enough in winter?
Yes. We insulate the floor, the walls and the ceiling to current building regulations, the same standard as a new house, and add heating. A converted garage should feel exactly like the rest of the home.
How long does a garage conversion take?
One to three weeks on site for a single garage, longer if we are adding doors to the garden, a shower room or a new roof at the same time.
Will it add value?
A garage conversion typically costs less per square metre than any other way of adding space and, done properly with building control sign-off, adds usable floor area that shows up in a valuation.
Often done in the same visit.

Basement conversions
The cellar under a stone terrace becomes a cinema, gym or bedroom.

Kitchens
Usually as part of an extension or knock-through, fitted by the same team.

Bathrooms
New bathrooms and en suites, usually alongside a loft or garage conversion.
